Lone Rider Lauren Bach Books

Wrong place, wrong time. When Tess Marsh runs out of gas on a dark deserted road she ends up being kidnapped by a ruthless band of drug smugglers, white slavers and murderers. There is one in the group that immediately "claims" her and ask her to trust him. Tess struggles through trusting Dallas after being threatened and witnessing a murder. She knows she probably shouldn't but she cant deny she is attracted Dallas and she's starving for an emotional connection after weeks of being kept in a cabin.

(spoilerish)
Here is where the book changes. Many are promoting this book as a "biker" book. This is not a biker book. A FBI agent has been undercover for 2 years trying to catch a white slaver. When he comes across Tess broken down he has no choice but to force her to come along and claim her to make sure she isnt raped and killed by the psychotic Snake. He struggles with not telling the truth to Tess but is afraid she wouldn't be able to fool Snake and Bogen.

Once the FBI raid the compound and arrest Snake and Bogen things still dont improve for Tess and Dallas. Tess feels betrayed and Dallas realizes he loves her but with the trial coming up and Tess life still in danger will these two be able to over come how they met and deal with new threats to be able to see if they can have a future together?

Lone Rider Lauren Bach Books Reviews

I love bad boy romance hero novels! This book had some unexpected surprises as well as some predictable happenings. But I really enjoyed it. Love, love, love me some bad boy heroes!
This book was 100% amazingly great. I was completely enchanted with the story and characters. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. I will be reading more books by this author.
I definitely don't agree with the 5 star ratings. The book was okay. It reads like a Harlequin romance...a hint of edgy with a hint of sexy. I needed more development of plot and characters. This is not a book that I will be keeping in my library.
The book was seemingly predictable from the first chapter. However, I still loved Dallas and his character. I have read other "Biker Romance" and this was not really a Biker read at all. The romance was okay and the book was long but it was worth the reading time for sure.
I got "Lone Rider" because the book looked interesting and the reviews were pretty good. Well never buy a book based on its cover. I was very dissapointted! "Lone Rider" was bad. It seem from page one that there was something different about a Dallas and it didn't take long to find out. And Tess seemed like a character without a clue. If you are for a great romance writer check out Lori Foster
First off I have to disagree with people calling Tess a weak heroine. She went through numerous hard situations, and I believe she handled everything well. I don't want to spoil the book, so believe me when I say Tess handled things well. Everyone gave Dallas/grey praise when I believe he was the one falling short. The reason I gave it three stars was there wasn't enough smexy time, and the ending was so rushed and not believable.
What I really liked about this book this that the author gave the heroine real life qualities. So many books that I have read the heroine is this kick-ass woman who can beat up all of her captors and walk away without a scratch. That annoys the hell out of me!! The heroine in this book has real emotions and fears. She is a kidnap victim as is terrified what is going to happen to her. Anyone, especially a female, would probably be crying and scared.

the story itself was great and full of action. The Hero, Dallas, appeared to be hot hot hot!!

I can across a couple of grammatical mistakes but nothing that interfered with the how the story flowed.
