The beginning of a story that was put together via a thought and grew from there by the author and myself. Where this story goes from here is anybodies guess but I for one "Dare to let my imagination free". Do you?
I thought it was a good read. I am not a gamer or much into fantasy, but this book had a god plot and I enjoyed the characters.
"The Guardian of the Lake" was a very interesting book to read. I being a beginner to role playing type novels, I enjoyed reading this book. My imagination, emotions, and thoughts soared throughout the novel. Cannot wait till the next book. Wonderful job to everyone who contributed to this book.
This book was an easy read with a gamer flavor. We all dream of escaping our lives to an amazing fantasy world. Instead of just dreaming it, Loki put his dream to paper and shared it with the rest of us. I would love to see more descriptions in the next book. Not so much as to bog the reader down, but enough to truly see Kambarington ands its residents as Loki does. The descriptions in Book 1 read like a D&D type explanation. I could SEE the items given to the main characters. Great job and I look forward to Book 2!
